I love the Mitchell Centre, the underground parking has saved me countless times. The city councils lack of understanding how a city actually works astounds me. Cars are a necessary evil to get around, not everyone lives in the city... The centre itself is great, the shops however are starting to look a little sparse in there though, and if the council doesn't pull it's finger out and fix the CDB no one is going to want to open shops in the city.

It's my perfect shopping centre. It's small by. shopping centre standards and that's why I like it because it's not tiring when I want to get everything done. It has underground parking with escalator entrance and exit. I have my GP within the medical centre, a large pharmacy, Coles, Telstra and several speciality shops. There are cafes and coffee shops just outside.

I’ve recently needed to engage the Mitchell Centre manager, Elisha Lay. I had left a pair of shoes for repair and found out that this little stall in the middle of the shopping complex had closed. Elisha was able to rectify the problem for me and provided me a phone number to call. I am so grateful to Elisha for her calm and generous help in allowing me to retrieve my shoes. Thanks Elisha. This shopping centre is very well run, but it is now a ‘tired looking’ place and could do with a huge upgrade. It is in such a prime location that a makeover would encourage a lot more business. It also could do with more security after 6pm as I have heard of a lot of random kids running amok when the Security guard is out doing his checks through the underground carpark. Something needs to be done to help secure the building like Cas Square.

Visited most of the businesses. All were so friendly, helpful and caring. Even the cleaner (Gary I think), the security guards and Cole's trolley lady Always give me a nod and smile and it makes my day. And love the free underground- shaded parking.

Yesterday I was helped by a wonderful, patient shop assistant in the Darwin store, named Eisha. She went above and beyond in helping me set up my new phone and clearly explained everything, even though my questions were probably a bit silly. I would recommend this store for the assistance, store atmosphere and advice..Thank you Eisha Regards Ilona

Halal Food. Anywhere & anything you can get in Darwin City centre. There's Coles just across the street.
